I stopped off at Sonny’s Surplus the other day.  They say you can never go back to your childhood, but this place is almost there. 

It’s a tall, slender, SunBeam (I think).   It now has a distinguished place on my counter.  My roommate and I (there’s that great English again) hit the local liquor store and just viewed the possibilities of how our life was going to be, even now, more fulfilled
